I have been meaning to take some photos on the beach with an umbrella for a long time now - and with people on! So today I went with my friend, artist and Feng Shui expert Sinnet, but they didn't quite turn out the way I expected due to shifted sun light and poor patience, but I think this one is fine. Thanks to Gio (look) for reminding me of finally trying the umbrella photos ;)

Accidentally there was a phone call and I just love it when the scene is not so staged.

I saw she was on the phone right away, maybe because of her expression. Like this shot very much, colors make me think she must be getting hot sitting there.

    Great!

I have wanted to try something with an umbrella, this is a great expression and I really like the colour tone that you used.

Great shot Kenny. I like the tones.

I wasn't sure whether or not she was talking on the cellphone until I read your comment.
I like the treatment you did here. Nice tone.

Nice composition. I like the way the shadow falls horizontally across the photo.

It's a shame you can't see the phone.I hadn't caught on to it until I read your description. It's a nice picture, but I'm not sure about the green tones. But who cares about what I think. Keep up the good work :-)

Beautiful. I didn't realise that she was talking on a phone either (those mobiles are getting smaller and smaller :-) Love the green tones.

I think you really made this whole thing work out so lovely! Wonderfull work.

I think its a great shot, love the tone and the processing is superb as always.

Lovely duotone. I didn't realize she was talking on a cell phone until I read your notes. I agree that it's nice to capture this sort of "semi-candid" moment when your subject isn't really paying attention to you.

That's a lovely shot. It looks very surreal with the umbrella in the sand dunes and the tones help to exaggerate that effect. Nice one.

A good shot with appealing toning and a nice composition. Don't you just love it when the clouds play ball and fit themselves into the scene as well as here... The picture looks quite chromasian, and that's meant as a compliment.

This is excellent man. Very unique portrait. The umbrella gives it this weird, surreality that I quite like.. reminds me of experimental French documentary work from the 1950s.

    Hi Kenny.
I think it turned out very nice. I only have 2 things that doesn't suit me:)
It's not very obvious that she is talking in a phone, since it's not that visible. And the second thing is, that I think that there could have been a little more contrast in her face. The shadows looks a little washed out. Nut maybe it's just me and my addiction to high contrast :)
