Brilliant picture! It looks like a shot from a movie. 'Danger is lurking behind this fence'...

    Kenny,

This has got to be an HDR too... You're on a roll with these. They look fantastic.

I like the color treatment. Nice exposure in the sky as well.

Clouds, that'swhat it is...It seems like you read my mind...I did try to get close to the smoke last summer in Portugal, but was stopped by the police about 3 times. Never got close to it.

Thanks a lot for all your comments!

Renato> It is only clouds, we got no forrest fires here if thats what you are looking for ;) I used a polarizer in this photo.

Kenneth> Maybe, but its a lot of work in my mind and I do not perform any standard adjustments thats exactly the same every time. It is trial and error, and you should just hop into it and try out some of the stuff in PS. If I get some extra time in spring/summer I will try to work out some tutorials based on some photos.

Amazing how you get somoething out of what appears to be nothing. Your composition, and post-processing are wonderful.

I really admire the way you look at the simplest things. Great shot again.

    0 Renato

Very cool shot! I am firstly drawn to the foreground and then straight away to the background. Still can't figure out whether those are clouds or smoke...

    0 Seth

This is great.. one day I'll learn to do things like this. ;)

Love this man made with the nature in the background. Both parts of this photo are strong.

Very cool shot. i shouts out 'Warning!'. I really like how you managed to get details in both shadows and highlights. Very nice post-processing. (As usual)...
