I was thinking how come this thing is in the ground, and then I read the comments! I think the tiles surronding it give that illusion. Really nice.

Use of textures with an almost monotone subject.

Im surprised there arent hundreds of cigarette ends sticking out the top. I like the contrast of the smooth metal with the rough-looking stone wall.

    0 Joakim

I hate cigarettes, but I love this picture. It's amazing how you danes still smoke everywhere! :-)

i'm loving the angle and texture of this one. the slight yellow coloring at the top of the subject really adds to this photo. nice job.

I can't take my eyes off the textures!

    Hey.
Pretty good shot which could worl well in a series with the ashtrey you posted some time ago.
It's a funny angle - which really makes it look like it was knocked over and laying on the ground.

I guess I am comparing this shot to the "card reader" shot. so this one just doesnt seem to be at the same level. I think you could make an interesting project of shooting items like this. vertical devices with a semi-solid background...anyway I like it alone, but compared to what you did with the other one I think this one could be done better. Nice work though.

I think the angle you've taken it from makes the viewer think this has been knocked on the floor. Brilliant shot, I really like it.

    0 Kenny

Yeah, Ellis.. But its a standing object and the stones behind is a wall ;)

    0 Mark Ellis

LOOKS LIKE ITS ON THE FLOOR.
