Sitting in the car scouting for subjects, when I see this old "listen to the voice and insert you card" machine. I'm a little disappointed with the light on the machine itself in regards to all the light on the wall behind.

    I recommend a visit to

What do you think of "Card Reader"?

The compostion, colour and the background texture make the mood to this. Like it

It's great how you use daily subjects and turn them into really interesting shots.
Background wall reminds me of the bike photo by Martin.

Times change...Great subject here. You shot it well.

I can see what you mean about the difference in light between the subject and the background, but the picture still works. Nicely toned, too.

yeah i like this shot a great deal. it just reaches out and grabs me. I like the shallow dof and think that the tinting and exposure are perfect. Nice work

Thanks Martin! I just realized it myself when I checked it out on the laptop, where colors does seem to be slightly different. I have reuploadet it now with less sepia... ;)

Great subject. I've tried to photograph this "thing" myself, but never thought of shooting it straight on.
I'm not sure about the color. On this monitor it has a vague red tint, which looks a bit too pink for my taste. But maybe it's just the monitor...?
Very simple - Just how we like it:)
