This is my pal Martin (What The Heck Journal 2006, click here to visit his blog) almost shot dead the other day - by my camera! Used natural strong sunlight from left and flash from right and actually an experiment at the spare moment. This photo has undergone heavy adjustments regarding to levels and toning. Martin is setting off to Spain tomorrow, so this is my farewell and hopes for a good journey... with loads of photos - and a new photo everyday in the blog!

This is not a commercial ;)

    I recommend a visit to

A magnum shot ! How did you get such skin tones ? You should make some photoshop tutorials :)

This is an incredible portrait. I've been meaning to ask if you would share the post processing you did on it?

    0 Phil

Perhaps the best photo I ever seen on the web... Do it again !

Fantastic shot kenny. This image says everything about the title of your blog...moody! He looks like he's just about to grab your camera and smack you with it! Great. It's also so full of detail, this kind of image really should silence those who say digital is not as good as film. Great post processing.

Awesome picture, intense, fierce and almost violent look. Lightning is well balanced. Just great.

I love the smoke and lighiting against the dark background.

Great portrait, you have the lighting just right and dark background just helps lift the rest of the photo. Nice one

Great mood and lighting! The dark clothing and the darkness of the background gave a nice low-key look, and the expression is priceless. Perfect capture!

najs billede, det er jo super flot. Skin colour er lækker, det er en rigtig K. Weng.

    Hapy shoting, very kewl.

    0 peter

Kanonfed toning og et portræt du roligt kan være glad for.

    0 Ahamed

Very cool shot. I think it's interesting how the face and hand skin textures show up differently. Most of the time the hand usually looks more worn than the face.
    Nice work.

Knaldende godt! Det er, som om din ven sidder i min stue og ikke kun ses på min skærm. Igen et pletskud og brilliant bearbejdning af både lys og toning :-)

    Hey.
This one came out exactly how I imagined it when you shot it, and the discussion we had afterwards.
I especially like the smoke and the lighting.
The colouring of the skin is very unique.
