Lookout Mountain, GeorgiaYou got this close with a 70mm? Wow. Majoring in aerospace engineering, I love to watch planes, but I'm not quite sure I've ever seen one quite like this...or in this "light" rather. Truely amazing!

I don't even think I need to comment on this, friggin amazing... impressed that you managed to keep cam so still with it being so close! (unless there was a lot of cropping of course!), or is it the IS version of the 70-200 f2.8 your waving at the sky's like a mad mad?

You did a nice job on this one. Quite dark but still plenty of details. Clouds are pretty nice, hot temperature in there (I guess Burn/Dodge is one of your favorite tools ;-)
I'm used to see awesome shots from you... but the thing that disturbs me is where the heck you were at to get that angle? Plus, with your 70-200mm only, you got an unexpected reach !i love the dark colours on the background. it looks very dramatic!

This is a sweet shot! Curious about the 'streaks' people have mentioned, not sure I like them if they are PS'd but the colour and background are the highlights for me.

This shot is amazing. Lot of dark colours makes it on one hand really scary and on other - mysterious.
Great picture.Yikes, that's an awesome looking image. Did you add the streaks behind the airplane in PP? The sunlight hitting the airplane front really makes the cockpit pop out.
Looks great on the black background. The texture really fits the overall color of the shot.
